Rooted on Gedimino
Azzursoffe opened in 2020 when stylist Eglė Žukauskaitė converted a former bookbindery alcove on Gedimino prospektas into a floral design atelier. The name blends Italian azzurro and soffio—blue breath—reflecting her approach to airy, colour-conscious compositions.
Natural light from north-facing windows provides ideal conditions for assessing stem freshness and colour accuracy during design sessions.
Collective Expertise
Eglė leads creative direction and client consultations. Installation specialist Tomas Vaitkus manages on-site rigging, anchoring, and breakdown logistics. Botanical buyer Rasa Petrauskienė coordinates stem sourcing from Lithuanian growers and Riga wholesale markets.
The team scales with two to four freelance stylists during peak wedding season without compromising design consistency.
Philosophy of Restraint
Baltic floral styling benefits from negative space. We design arrangements where stems breathe rather than compete, often using fewer than twelve varieties per installation to maintain visual coherence.
Dried elements integrate year-round, not only as winter substitutes but as intentional textural contrasts within fresh compositions.
Sustainability Practice
Foam-free mechanics dominate our installations: chicken wire armatures, reusable water tubes, and compostable binding materials. Leftover fresh stems donate to Vilnius senior centres when event timelines permit.
We publish stem mileage estimates for imported flowers so clients make informed sourcing choices.
